Daniel McLaine

Daniel McLaine is a Wuppertal-based drummer who has spent over two decades cultivating a signature balance of technical precision and creative fluidity. Known for his exceptional sound and restless versatility, Daniel has established himself as a vital collaborator across a wide range of genres, both in the studio and on stage.

A graduate of ArtEZ University of the Arts, he previously studied at the Drummers Institute, where he was honored with the Best Student Award. His forward-thinking approach to the kit is further defined by his integration of drums and technology, a field he explored early on with his 2009 work, “Ableton Live für Drummer.”

Today, Daniel continues to bridge the gap between academic mastery and a modern, intuitive feel, consistently delivering a high-level sonic identity to every project.
